Legislatia
The Tier 4 Interim / Stage IIIB legislation has been introduced to enforce the reduction of particulate matter (PM), nitrogen oxides (NOx), hydrocarbons (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO) in engine emissions.
With additional reductions planned for Tier 4 Final / Stage IV, Perkins is already well advanced in the development of engines that will not only comply with tougher legislation and meet ever higher levels of technological complexity, but will also deliver appreciable operating benefits.
